About Fusion Poland
Fusion Polska Sp. z o.o. is the Polish branch of the UK-based Fusion Group Limited, which has been part of the AVK Group since 2017.
Fusion Group is a leading manufacturer of polyethylene (PE) fittings and installation equipment – including electrofusion and butt fusion machines. Alongside a wide range of PE fittings, both electrofusion and butt fusion, the company also supplies PE ball valves as well as tools and accessories that ensure the proper installation and reliable operation of water and gas distribution pipelines.
The beginning
In 2022, Fusion Polska launched the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management – an advanced ERP system that not only integrates natively with other Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, and Power BI, but also enables effective enterprise finance management.
For a manufacturing group like Fusion, this was a particularly important step, as having accurate insights into real production costs and margins is critical. The system also supports more complex accounting processes related to the import of goods.
To ensure success, Fusion Polska brought in 7F Technology Partners – a team with extensive experience in finance and accounting, thanks to the strong business background of its consultants.
Scope of collaboration
The Dynamics implementation did not go as smoothly as initially expected. That’s where our team stepped in to support Fusion Polska with operational and accounting process improvements.
Our work included developing clear instructions and procedures, entering overdue SAD documents into the system, preparing and implementing JPK_VAT, in line with Polish reporting standards for unified administrative documents, designing reports, bank statement layouts, and trade settings for international operations, but also training Fusion Polska employees to use Microsoft Dynamics 365 and input data effectively.
