About mateco
mateco is a leader in the aerial work platform rental and sales market, offering equipment tailored to every need. Their fleet includes more than 45,000 platforms in 700 different variants, covering working heights from 4 to 90 meters.
The portfolio includes scissor lifts, telescopic and articulating booms, truck-mounted lifts, trailer-mounted lifts, as well as telehandlers and forklifts.
On top of that, mateco provides comprehensive services such as platform rental and sales, equipment servicing, UDT-certified training, and platform lifetime assessments. The company operates across 13 branches in Poland, delivering expert advice and the highest safety standards.
The beginning of the story
In March 2020, mateco Poland began implementing Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations – an advanced ERP system that natively integrates with other Microsoft products, such as Outlook. The rollout went smoothly until the stage of implementing the so-called Polish localization, which is essential to ensure compliance with Polish legal requirements.
At that point – in August 2020 – mateco brought 7F Technology Partners on board. Our company provided the solutions required for ERP to operate properly in Poland. This included modules for JPK (SAF-T), the White List, integration with VIES, and NBP.
Scope of collaboration
Our role wasn’t just about delivering the right solutions. We were also responsible for their implementation, training employees, and working directly with Microsoft to handle system-specific exceptions.
After a successful first month of operations, mateco started using the full production functionalities of Dynamics F&O. As new support needs arose, we proposed ongoing cooperation covering both system maintenance and further ERP development in Poland.
